Upstairs we have a large living room with fireplace and piano, a large comfortable sofa and a second sofa that folds out to a double bed, a flat screen HD LCD TV with cable, blu ray and DVD players, XBOX 360, stereo and generous DVD and CD collection. Our dining room has lovely cherry furniture, seats 6-8 or more with added folding table. Our kitchen is recently renovated with new stainless steel appliances: dishwasher, microwave, stove/oven and fridge. Breakfast nook comfortably seats 4. Adjacent laundry room. Our office has a futon that folds out to double bed, plus printer/copier and stereo. Full bath and master bathroom with King Size bed. Deck with BBQ grill. Our downstairs has one private BR with twin bed and chaise lounge, one semi-private BR with twin bed (have to walk thru it to get to second BR), half bath and family room with double sofa bed. Street and driveway parking.

Our neighborhood:
Wooded residential neighborhood near Highway 13. Quick access to Berkeley (10 min. to downtown), Rockridge BART, which takes you to SF (5 min.), SF (30 min drive non-rush hour), and further East via Hwy 24. Also a bus stop down the street takes you to SF. The East Bay is sunnier and usually 10 degrees warmer than SF. We're 1.5 hours from Santa Cruz, Point Reyes National Seashore, and the Napa Wine Country/Calistoga resort area. We're about 3 hours from Lake Tahoe and Monterey/Carmel/Big Sur. We're about 4 hours from Yosemite and 5 hours from Kings Canyon/Sequoia National Parks. It's a great part of the country!
A little about ourselves:
We're a professional couple (attorney working for the court system and district manager for high-end coffee company) with two boys ages 10 and 12. We're very clean and responsible. We enjoy traveling and exploring new places without breaking the bank. We've done a lot of camping and hiking (including a 6-week drive to Alaska and back) and some overseas travel (Europe and North Africa) and are hoping to visit other parts of the US and Canada, New Zealand, the Mediterranean -- So. Europe, Turkey, North Africa. Also interested in South America, Caribbean, elsewhere in Europe. Make an offer. We speak Spanish, French, Arabic.
